Music Instrument retailer hopes to raise £8m to fund European expansion plan
Gear4Music, the online retailer of musical instruments and equipment, will unveil plans to list on London’s junior market on Monday.
The business, which was founded 20 years ago by Andrew Wass, is looking to raise around £8m in an Aim market flotation that will value the retailer at up to £25m.
The Yorkshire-based company, which sells 27,00 different products ranging from 99p Kazoos to £8,000 Yamaha digital pianos, grew life-for-like sales by 35pc last year to report £24.2m.
